We're hiring Canvas UGC creators to make short videos about mobile apps

Canvas UGC (also called Tech UGC) works like this: you post to TikTok several days a week, and each video follows the same script format as the last. Your follower count doesn't matter here, and we don't ask for it.

The work usually comes to 15–45 short videos a month (anywhere from every other day to a video or two a day), all from scripts we write. Each one runs 15–30 seconds and follows the same shape: same kind of hook, same delivery, and your face on camera. The examples below show what a finished one looks like ⬇︎

What the videos look like

Every video pays. One that goes viral can pay thousands. So volume pays the base, and the upside is one of them breaking out.

How the money works

Two parts: base pay per video, and a view bonus on top. Only the base is guaranteed.

Base pay — $30–$100 per video. You get it for every video you deliver, no matter how it performs. Nothing is ever deducted from base pay. At 15–45 videos a month, that's $450 to $4,500 before any bonus.

We look at each video and can ask for changes, up to two rounds. That never holds up your payment, and we'd rather give you notes for the next video than send you back to reshoot the last one.

View bonus — on top of the base. It's the whole reason creators go into Canvas UGC: one video can bring in $2,000 or more. Up to 2,000,000 views, a video earns $100 for every full 100,000, so 150,000 views pays the same as 100,000. Above 2,000,000, the step changes to full millions at $350 each, so 2,900,000 pays the same as 2,000,000. Every step:

Views on one video Bonus
100,000 $100
500,000 $500
1,000,000 $1,000
2,000,000 $2,000
every 1,000,000 after that $350 more

Three things every other program leaves vague, so here they are:

For example, a video that reaches 7,000,000 views earns $2,000 on its first two million, then $350 per million for the five million after that. The bonus on that one video comes to $3,750, on top of the base pay it already earned.

Honest arithmetic: most videos won't hit a threshold. The base covers your time; the bonuses are what turn a good month into a big one. Plan around the base and treat the rest as upside.

Base pay lands on a weekly cycle. Bonuses are paid in stages as the views come in — usually starting about two weeks after you post — and settled once the video's 60-day window closes.

Where the videos get posted

You have two options, and you choose.

On your own TikTok account. This is the better of the two if you're up for it. TikTok has known the account for a while, so it doesn't read as a bot: your very first video can take off and pay a bonus straight away. Say so when you apply — it counts in your favor.

On a fresh TikTok account, if you'd rather keep this separate. TikTok can't tell a new account from a bot, so the account's posts barely get shown until it warms up. That takes a few days of normal use, and we walk you through exactly what to do: about 20 minutes a day for the first few days, and it's paid.

Questions people ask first

Do I need followers?

No. Not one. Follower count makes no difference to us.

Will this show up on my personal profile?

Only if you choose to post on your own account. Otherwise you run a fresh account for the project, and the two never touch.

Do I write the scripts?

No. We do. You get the script, the hook, and a reference video every time.

Do I have to edit?

Minimal editing at most — and we'll show you exactly what we need.

What do I need?

Two iPhones. The one you film with should be an 11 or newer; the other only runs the app you're showing, so any working iPhone will do. No other gear.

Do I have to reply to comments?

Yes, but only the ones asking what the app is. That takes 5–10 minutes a day at most. It's what keeps a post circulating, and it's included in the base rate.

What if a video gets no views?

You still get paid the base for it. Bonuses are extra, never a condition of getting paid.

Can I work with other brands at the same time?

Yes, as long as they're not direct competitors.

What if I want to stop?

Tell us and finish the videos you've started. No lock-in, no notice period.

Where do you hire from?

We work with creators in the US, Canada, the UK, and Australia. If you're somewhere else, apply anyway and we'll tell you right away whether we can take you on.

Do I need experience?

No. Past work isn't part of the decision, and we don't ask to see any. What matters is that you can follow a script and keep to a schedule.

If you've read all of this and still want the work, apply.

If you're unsure, take another look at the examples above. It's better to pass now than three weeks in.
